Quilting Prices

(Minimum basic quilting charge is $25.00.)

Low Density Pantographs:

Custom Quilting:  I do not provide custom quilting services such as heirloom, outline stitching, or in the ditch.

*To figure the amount of square yards multiply the width in inches by the length in inches. This number is then divided by 1296 to equal the number of square yards in the quilt top. 

Prices do not include backing or batting.  If you supply your own, batting & backing must be at least 8” wider and 8” longer than the quilt top.  Do not baste layers together. If it is necessary to square your backing fabric, there will be an additional charge. Trim all loose threads from the back and top of your quilt top.  Loose threads may show through the top or back if not trimmed.  Press your quilt top and backing fabric thoroughly.  Be sure your top is square.  Measure your side borders as well as the middle of the length of your top.  Your measurements should be the same.  Measure the top, bottom, and across the middle widthwise.  These three measurements should be the same.  If not, there is a possibility that there will be puckers or tucks in your quilt, as fullness cannot be quilted out.  If your quilt top does not lie flat, it may not quilt flat.

Time;    Quilting time varies.  Please allow at least 6-8 weeks for your quilt to be finished.

Thread:  I use white thread unless a different color is requested. We will use the same color thread in the bobbin as used on the top. 

Extra charges apply for return shipping/insurance, specialty threads, mending, ironing, back piecing, binding, etc.

Binding: Straight edge machine finished with zig zag stitch:  $10.00 per 100 inches.
